Match.com Dating Reviews and Complaints
Match.com is an online dating site that allows members to submit pertinent information about themselves to their personal profile. Members then have the opportunity to look at other members’ profiles and start an online conversation with an individual whose profile interests them. Members can edit, update or hide their profiles as they see fit. A member with an updated profile may also speak to another member through Match.com’s Matchtalk.
Jess from Columbia appreciates the ease of the site. “I’d tried a few sites before but always got stuck with the endless instructions. And when I wanted to review some of the other profiles before registering, I had to go through a whole song and dance before I could see the other profiles so I’d know if I even wanted to join. Match.com was the first site that allowed me to do everything quickly and easily and even check out other people’s profiles before I joined.”
Randy from Salt Lake City found a good dating pool in his own backyard. “I’m not a Mormon so when I moved to Salt Lake City for my work I didn’t even know where to look to start meeting women. When I joined Match.com I found that there are plenty of women around who share my interests and religious affiliation. This has made it easy to establish a serious relationship.”
Terissa from Brookline had the opposite problem -- living in a big city, there should have been endless choices but she wasn’t finding them. “My social life consisted of meeting my girlfriends for dinner and sharing our complaints about meeting someone in the Boston area. The three of us joined Match.com and are now living in a whole new world of successful matchmaking.”
Jon from Newark was pleased when Match.com conducted intensive reviews over a complaint that he submitted. “I had met a girl online and we were involved in some serious chats. I thought that we would be making plans to meet but something happened with the site and her profile disappeared -- so did our communication. It took several days for Match.com to figure out what had happened, but they did and we were soon back in contact. Good thing too, because we ended up getting married.”
Grant from Tucson writes “Tucson has some local matchmaking programs and I tried those first because I assumed that it would be easier to find local women. After nothing but complaints and frustrations I joined Match.com, a national program. Only then did I have the opportunity to meet women who really met my expectations.”
