Speed dating parties are where you can rapidly meet with up to 25 people and get to know each other. If both parties want to see each other again, then their contact details are swapped.
This kind of approach to dating and relationships has proven to work before.
Amy from Toronto used the '25 dates' speed dating service to help her find a long-term relationship. She says she is a "satisfied user of the service, it allows you scope for meeting a much larger number of people in person, and if you aren’t able to obtain a match, the next social meeting is free.. A great draw for me."
Patrick from Missisauga didn’t find the service quite helpful to his tastes, however. "All the folks I met via their system I could have met elsewhere on my own. I already have a large social network. I thought they would be able to offer me something different. I think I only wasted time using their service."

Malcolm from Toronto is not so sure as Chris is. "I think the idea is kind of good, may be it is just me, but I found it unappealing running around from date to date on the same date. Call me old-fashioned, this is not the way that I am used to. But I can see how folks may find it attractive – in tune with the times, short and sweet introductions, huh?"
